What to Expect during your dental check-up

If it is your first visit, there will be a complete review of your dental history. For follow-up visits, the following can be expected:

• A thorough dental cleaning along and below the gum line. This will remove plaque and tartar build up which is effective in preventing cavities and bad breath.
• A complete cleaning and polishing of your teeth
• A complete Dental check up of your mouth, teeth and gums to look for potential problems.
• X-rays may be taken to ensure there aren't any unseen problems such as gum disease, hidden decay between the teeth, impacted teeth or tooth abscesses, etc.
